![]() Psalm 15:1-2 Who may worship in Your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter Your presence on Your holy hill? Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking from sincere hearts. WOW!! This is a powerful statement here! It really speaks to me and puts things back into perspective for me. The Lord looks at our hearts and not everything on the outside. He cares about our heart condition and if we are really sincere.
I sing on our praise team at church and music is a huge part of who I am, but I am learning that worship is more that just the music. That's why I love the story in the bible, Mark 12, where the widow woman came and gave 2 small coins, when everyone else was giving out of their wealth. Jesus said she had gave more than anyone, see He looked at the heart. Worship is an offering, to pour out. And we can worship in so many different ways other than just music. Its in our daily lives that we live. Let your life be about worshiping our Savior. My prayer today is that you find that time and place with the Lord, make time for Him and seek His face and not just His hands!! I believe that is true worship, when we worship Him for who He is and not just what He can do for us. I love that song that states, "every blessing You pour out I'll turn it back to praise". He does want to bless us cause we serve a good God, but lets make it about Him and not just about us. Are we a consumer or a consumee of worship.--Krista
