Looking deeper into the scriptures, I believe the Lord speaks volumes to us! Jesus already was in the beginning and came to earth as a baby and we are in the middle of celebrating that amazing story right now!!! But things did not end there, Jesus grew and had a ministry here on earth and showed us how to love and live and then WENT ALL THE WAY to the CROSS for you and for me, He took our sin upon Himself and gave us life and gave us life more abundantly. But things still didn't end there, He rose again on the third day and now sits at the right hand of the Father in Heaven interceding for you and for me. I believe He is that Voice speaking to us now, trying to fill the valleys in our lives and move the mountains and hills in our way, and straighten the curves that get thrown our way and smooth the rough places that arise in our lives. And the reason is to bring Glory to His name!! To show that He is the King of kings and Lord of lords, to show there was a reason why He came for us. Victory is ours through Jesus. So that we might see the "salvation sent from God"!
Drown out the voices that try screaming louder in your mind and the lies that tell you you don't matter, Jesus died for you, receive Him and trust Him, give Him the mountains and the valleys, and trust Him through those hard times, He is faithful and His promises are true!! And the even greater NEWS!! HE IS COMING BACK! So just like the scripture says, "Prepare the way for the Lord's COMING!" Krista

I hope when you look at your Christmas tree this year, you see it for more than just a tree. I hope you can see all the symbols within it that help to point us right back to Jesus everytime!!
I love that in all of creation we can look at what the Lord has created and turn it around and give Him our praise. Psalm 96:12-13, says, Let the fields and their crops burst out with joy! Let the trees of the forest sing for joy before the Lord, for He is coming! Isaiah 55:12 You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! Galatians 3:13-14 But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When He was hung on the cross, He took upon Himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing He promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith. When you look upon the tree, see the real meaning behind it!!! Jesus came so that we could live. He hung on a tree for you and for me!! Thank you Jesus!!-- Krista HE'S COMING BACK! ARE YOU READY?? The Lord truly spoke to me through the "Pay It Forward" segment!! I know I shared so much scripture, but each day spoke a deeper meaning to me and I hope to you too.
We are called to make disciples and love people and show them Jesus! 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. I shared a lot of scripture throughout this week and if you think about it, it all comes back to loving people and pointing them to Jesus!! Deuteronomy 6:4-9, talked of how we need to continuously talk about Jesus. The scripture tells us to write it upon our door posts, and talk about Him daily with our children, so we need to continuously be paying it forward into our children! Not only do we need to be paying it forward into our children daily, but into this entire generation. I have such a love for this generation. I shared the scripture from 1 Kings 19:16, where Elijah anointed Elisha. That whole story I believe has so much depth in it, because I believe Elijah passed something onto Elisha, it was an anointing he placed onto Elisha to carry on his ministry but to also carry it farther than Elijah even carried it!! We need to be about pouring into this generation and desiring for them to go farther then ourselves and take the gospel farther then we have. Think of how you can be a blessing today and 'Pay It Forward' into someones life today. Who might you meet today, that needs to hear about Jesus? After-all, JESUS PAID IT ALL FORWARD for us!! Krista Share your holiday story with me!! Maybe something crazy happened with you over Thanksgiving!! It could be something that happened this year or years ago during Thanksgiving or Christmas!! I love funny stories!! Please share with me and if you don't mind I would love to share them!!-- Krista Proverbs 18:21
The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences. There is a lot of power in this short scripture. It speaks very loudly to me and has spoken loudly to me throughout my life as a follower of Jesus!! I believe the Lord wants what is best for us. I think we have a choice to choose the kind of person we want to be and what kind of example we want to be to others! I know for myself I want to be a positive influence in the lives of others and that doesn't just go for the life that I live, I believe my talk and my walk ought to match up! Choosing to speak life daily is choosing to speak the Word!! God's Word has so many promises in it, and if we would get in it and begin to see what it says about us and what the Lord says about His people, I believe it would begin to change how we see ourselves and others, it would change our thought pattern and then it would begin to change the way we speak. See what you put in eventually comes out!! So my question to you today is what are you feeding on today!! Choose to feed on living things, on the Word, and you will find yourself speaking life to not only your situation but to those around you!! God is able!! My challenge to you today is take notice of everything you say throughout the day, are you speaking (positive) life, or speaking things of negativity (death)? Believe me none of us are no where near perfect at this, but just take a day and see what you do more of throughout a days time!! I have to keep myself in check on this. We all walk through hard times and situations that overtake us and can be overwhelming, but hopefully we can begin to see why we are going through the season we are going through, cause God knows all and sees all. We don't always understand the season we are in, but I know there has to be a reason for all of it!! I'm still trying to learn my own!! Be blessed and I would love to hear some of your own stories and just share with you more of my own personal stories! Message me or comment!! God bless you.-- Krista
Acts 16:25-26 Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening. Suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off. Can't express again how powerful our praise is!!! Please go check out Acts 16 and read the whole story about Paul and Silas!! Please message me or leave a comment, I would love to hear how the Lord has delivered you from a situation where you have chosen to praise Him through your circumstance!!
GET YOUR PRAISE ON!!--Krista 2 Chronicles 20:21-22 After consulting the people, the King appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising Him for His Holy splendor. This is what they sang: "Give thanks to the Lord; His faithful love endures forever!" At the very moment they began to sing and give praise, the Lord caused the armies of Ammon, Moab and Mt.Seir to start fighting among themselves. I am blown away at this story in 2 Chronicles 20!! I want to encourage you to read this story, because there is so much here. The Lord spoke to me, it has been about a year ago and He used scripture in this story to encourage me through a situation I was dealing with with one of my children. 2 Chronicles 20:17 says, But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord's victory. This spoke to me in such a way, it brought tears to my eyes and I was literally on my face before the Lord.
God hears the cries of His people and He showed up on my behalf that day, just like He showed up in this story and defeated the enemy for this king. When we have situations in our lives that arise, give it all to Jesus and begin to praise Him through the storms. He is faithful always!! And if you read the end of the book (Bible), the enemy is defeated!!!!! We WIN, because of Jesus!! Hallelujah!! I am seeing the Lord move mightily in my life where I chose to take my position, like He said through this scripture. Believe me, I am human and fail so many times at this, but He continues to remind me who He is and who I am in Him. So take your positions and begin to praise like you have never praised before. The Lord will show up!!--Krista John 4:23-24 But the time is coming-indeed it's here now-when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship Him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. There is no other name that deserves all the praise and worship we can give, but JESUS!! He is worthy of all the honor. We are coming up on the week of Thanksgiving and I am so grateful for where God has brought me from. I guess that's why I love the story of the woman at the well. Jesus truly met her right where she was at, but loved her so much that He didn't leave her in that place!! He shows all through this story how He has come for everyone, not just for certain individuals or races or ethnic groups, Jesus came to save the world!! God looks at the heart and what is amazing is He knows just how to reach the heart! I'll never forget the day He changed my heart. I have a desire to know Him more and seek Him and give Him all my worship!!
I shared a statement on the radio this morning, "The more we know about God, the more we appreciate Him. The more we appreciate, the deeper our worship. The deeper our worship, the more God is glorified." Let Him captivate you, if you do that, you can't help but to worship Him.--Krista |
