Luke 14:34-35
"Salt is good for seasoning. But if it loses its flavor, how do you make it salty again? Flavorless salt is good neither for the soil nor for the manure pile. It is thrown away. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!"

These are Jesus words, written in Red!! I believe we need to season everything we say and do with salt and lets not hide our light under a basket lets shine our light so brightly for Jesus that this world can see HIM so clearly in our words and actions!! What we do does matter! Our choices matter, our motives matter, our heart matters! Let's be the salt of the earth and the light to a lost and dying world that needs the LIFE OF JESUS! Shake your salt shaker everywhere you go today and this weekend and everyday!! Pray for God encounters and opportunities to share the Good News of the Gospel with someone!

Salt- Salt was used for many things back in bible days and is used for so many things today!! Just think about it!!!!!

Salt is used in the winter in huge ways, and for the foods that we eat and to make so many materials that we use on a day to day basis.  In bible days they used it as to preserve food to prevent things from decaying and for many plants and as a fertilizer.  Just many many uses!!

Matthew 5:13-1613 “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.
14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.15 No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

We are the salt of the earth is what Jesus says, so we are called to be used just like salt today is used for so many things!! So many of us today though feel inadequate or useless or so small just like when we look at salt it looks small and like it can't do much of anything but it's use is so powerful!!  Look at how just a pinch can change the taste of the food that you eat. Or when a salt truck comes by and throws salt down on an icy road it begins to melt away what can cause such destruction!!! See what may seem of little use can be used for great and mighty things!! God wants to use each and every one of us! So I challenge each of us today to step out of our comfort zones and be what God has called us to be. BE BOLD, because with JESUS leading the way, we can't go wrong and HE will equip us each step of the way!  So come on and get out your salt shaker and let's start seasoning a world that needs to hear and know the Hope of a Savior who came to save you and me!

DO YOU GOT FLAVOR!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
